Our Mission is to to enhance the scope of positive life choices for at-risk girls, not regarding socio-economic level, through mentoring, educational activities and counseling.
In order for Just Us Girls to maintain and achieve our mission we ask that prospective volunteers and
mentors adhere to the following requirements and expectations:
Mentor/Volunteer Requirements:

an application

Background
check

Good
driving record

Car
Insurance
·
Positive
attitude

Passion
for young women
·
Open-minded
·
Commitment
to the organization and girls
Mentor Expectations:
·
Make
a 1-year commitment to your mentee and the organization
·
Attend
at least 6 monthly meetings or Just Us Girls events
·
Have
physical contact with your mentee twice a month or at least 4 hours/month
·
Must
check in with mentee 4 times a month (via phone)
We’re
committed to our girls and we ask that you do the same. We believe it’s better
to not have a mentor than to have an inactive mentor. Our girls have so
many inconsistencies in their lives we want them to know they can always count
on Just Us Girls!
